Ανοίγω αυτό το Θέμα σε αυτή την ενότητα , έτσι ώστε να παραθέτουμε πλήρη στοιχεία από συγκεκριμένα Laptop που έχουμε δοκιμάσει ή εγκαταστήσει την έκδοση Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32bit ή 64bit και λειτουργεί απρόσκοπτα. Out of the box.

Αυτά που συνήθως τσεκάρουμε είναι : Κάρτα γραφικών (υποστήριξη - απόδοση Unity 3D) , wireless (ασύρματη σύνδεση , αναγνώριση κάρτας) , Ενσωματωμένη κάμερα ( λειτουργεί ; ) , Ήχος (έχουμε ήχο από τα ηχεία ; )



Πως τεστάρουμε :
  • Κάρτα γραφικών - υποστήριξη Unity 3D.
    Ανοίγουμε ένα τερματικό (ctrl+alt+t) και γράφουμε την παρακάτω εντολή
    Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων
    /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p
  • wireless - ασύρματη σύνδεση .
    Τσεκάρουμε αν έχει ενεργοποιηθεί το ασύρματο δίκτυο και αν έχει εντοπίσει άλλα δίκτυα. Ίσως χρειάζεται να αφαιρέσουμε το καλώδιο ethernet.
  • Ενσωματωμένη κάμερα . Λειτουργεί ;
    Ανοίγουμε ένα τερματικό (Ctrl+alt+t) και γράφουμε την παρακάτω εντολή
    Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων
    gstreamer-properties
    θα ανοίξει ένα παράθυρο . Πατάμε Video και Test στο Default Input.
  • Ήχος .
    Απλά τσεκάρουμε αν έχουμε ήχο και αν λειτουργούν σωστά οι ρυθμίσεις ήχου.

Τι αναφέρουμε;

Δίνουμε κάποια στοιχεία για τις συσκευές και το Bios του υπολογιστή που τεστάραμε ή έχουμε εγκαταστήσει το Ubuntu 12.04 LTS καθώς και τον πυρήνα με τον οποίο έγινε το τεστ.
Ενδεικτικές εντολές

Με αυτόν τον τρόπο , εκτός από Laptops , μπορούμε να βλέπουμε και συσκευές (ή και Bios) με τις οποίες το Ubuntu 12.04LTS συνεργάζεται σωστά και χωρίς προβλήματα.
Εάν υπάρχει κάποιο πρόβλημα που θεωρούμε μικρό ,αλλά παρ' όλα αυτά το Laptop (θεωρούμε πως) λειτουργεί αρκετά καλά με το Ubuntu 12.04 LTS , καλό είναι να το αναφέρουμε πριν συμπεριλάβουμε το Laptop στην λίστα.


Παρακαλώ ΟΧΙ προβλήματα εδώ. Μόνο Laptops που λειτουργούν χωρίς κάποιο πρόβλημα , με τους προ-εγκατεστημένους οδηγούς - modules , σε Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

Μήπως στις τρεις παραπάνω εντολές να προσθέσουμε και την εντολή sensors σε idle(και την τρέχουσα θερμοκρασία περιβάλλοντος);
Το λέω γιατί στο δικό μου hardware μια χαρά θα δείχνουν οι τρεις εντολές, θα δει κανείς χριστιανός πλήρη συμβατότητα με τους προ-εγκατεστημένους οδηγούς - modules , σε Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, θα τρέξει να το αγοράσει και θα καεί από την θερμοκρασία, που ανεβάζουν οι ανοικτοί (και στο unity 3d οι κλειστοί).
Νομίζω λοιπόν, ότι πρέπει να συμπεριληφθεί η παραπάνω εντολή στο προφίλ που κάνει κάποιος για τον υπολογιστή του, έτσι ώστε κάποιος άλλος που ψάχνει-ρωτά να στέλνετε σε αυτή την σελίδα και να επιλέγει ανάλογα τις ανάγκες του.

Νομίζω λοιπόν, ότι πρέπει να συμπεριληφθεί η παραπάνω εντολή στο προφίλ που κάνει κάποιος για τον υπολογιστή του, έτσι ώστε κάποιος άλλος που ψάχνει-ρωτά να στέλνετε σε αυτή την σελίδα και να επιλέγει ανάλογα τις ανάγκες του.


Οι 3 εντολές είναι περισσότερο για στοιχεία του υπολογιστή που δοκιμάσαμε το Ubuntu 12.04 LTS και δούλεψε , χωρίς προβλήματα. Να δούμε στοιχεία του hardware - modules κλπ..
Αν στον δικό σου (ή σε αυτόν που δοκίμασες) υπάρχει πρόβλημα (π.χ με θερμοκρασίες) τότε δεν τον προσθέτεις στην λίστα , ή τον προσθέτεις με την προειδοποίηση για υψηλή θερμοκρασία και πως διορθώνεται (αν διορθώνεται , αν δεν διορθώνεται (είναι bug) τότε δεν τον προσθέτεις καθόλου στην λίστα).
Γράφω στο πρώτο ποστ , τι συνήθως κοιτάμε.

To laptop της υπογραφής μου λειτουργεί σχεδόν άψογα, αν εξαιρέσουμε ένα πρόβλημα που έχω με τον ήχο και τα ακουστικά στην 12.04 με τον 3.2.0-26 πυρήνα και αρκετά παλιά έκδοση BIOS. Είναι υπολογιστής τριετίας.
