έγραψε:On the 22nd and 23rd February 2010, the Ubuntu Manual project will be hosting a 48 hour event using Lernid that provides information for both new contributors and existing contributors.
Purpose:
"To provide information on the tools that the Ubuntu Manual Project uses to help both new and existing contributors to better u...nderstand the workflow process. This should enhance productivity and team communication, while reducing interior support requests and overall improve the efficiency of the team and the quality of the final product."
Classes on:
An introduction to the project – Benjamin Humphrey
Using Ground Control to make changes – Benjamin Humphrey
LATEX Commands for authors – Kevin Godby
Editing process and technique – Jamin Day
Using Launchpad to manage the project – Benjamin Humphrey
Translations and how they work – Josh Holland
How to effectively use the wiki – Ilya Haykinson
... and more!
We'll run the 48 hours over IRC (in the #ubuntu-classroom and #ubuntu-classroom-chat channels). Don't worry if you're not sure about how to get on IRC; you can use Jono Bacon's excellent Lernid program to make it easy to participate
Over the 48 hours we will hold two sessions of each class, at different times, so that people from all timezones should be able to make it to at least one class.
