Έχω πρόβλημα στο skype (ιδιοταγείς/κλειστού κώδικα), στο ACER της υπογραφής. Μετά από 5 λεπτά δυσκολέυομαι να ακούσω τον άλλο και μου εμφανίζει το μύνημα: poor network connection.
Αν κλείσω το skype call και το ξανανοίξω, μπορώ να μιλήσω για άλλα 5-8 λεπτά.
Επίσης παρατήρησα ότι το cpu πάει 85%-100%. Πιστεύω ότι εκεί οφείλεται το πρόβλημα.
Έκανα remove και επανεγκατάσταση το skype αλλά το πρόβλημα παρέμεινε ακριβώς το ίδιο.
Λεπτομερής περιγραφή του προβλήματος εδώ (στα Αγγλικά) όπως το έθεσα στο skype community forum. Θεωρώ όμως ότι εδώ υπάρχουν πιο έμεπιρα άτομα σχετικά με το ubuntu, που μπορεί να βοηθήσουν περισσότερο.

After about 5 minutes in a videoconference call, skype reports “poor network connection” and the sound quality is very bad (on my end only). The video is ok. The other party can hear me and see me without any problem.
If I stop the skype call and restart it, I can have trouble free video conference for another 5-7 minutes, before the same symptoms appear again.
It is not a connection problem, it is not my headset, cable etc. This happens only in one of my laptops:
ACER ASPIRE V5-131, DUAL CORE CPU, 8GB RAM.
When I try on another laptop (same setup, connection, cables etc) there is no such problem:
DELL Latitude E6220, I5-2520M CPU, 8GB RAM.
Both laptops have Ubuntu 16.04, 64 bit and SkypeforLinux 8.25.0.5.
I noticed that on the ACER, when having a webconference, the cpu runs at above 85%, many times close to 100%. I am convinced this is the problem. The Dell (I5 cpu) does not run so high.
Heat is not a problem because both laptops run on laptop coolers and their cpu temperature never goes too high.
Another thing I noticed on the ACER is a process called skypeforlinux, with this parameter: gpu-driver-bug-workarounds. I do not know if this is normal, if it could mean there is something wrong in my setup.
