Λογικά όταν αποσυμπιέζεις ένα πακέτο, υπάρχει μέσα ένα αρχείο κειμένου README ή INSTALL, ή κάτι παρόμοιο σε όνομα, το οποίο περιέχει οδηγίες.
Γενικότερα όμως, ψάχνουμε τον ευκολότερο τρόπο.
Για παράδειγμα, στη σελίδα του glabels υπάρχουν οδηγίες, πιθανώς δεν τις πρόσεξες:
Οπότε μπορείς να μεταγλωττίσεις από τον πηγαίο κώδικα σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες στον 1ο σύνδεσμο, ή να εγκαταστήσεις απευθείας το έτοιμο πακέτο από το 2ο σύνδεσμο.
Για το 2ο δεν βρήκα οδηγίες κάπου, θα πρέπει να διαβάσεις το σχετικό αρχείο που αναφέρω στην αρχή.
