Δεν υπήρξαν ποτέ επιστημονικές μελέτες που να στηρίξουν οτι η αλλοίωση της πλαστικής φιάλης εμφιαλωμένου νερού απελευθερώνει τοξίνες στο νερό:

Any levels of migration of substances due to this change in temperature have been determined to be within the margin of safety. There have been emails and other sources of information stating that women who drink from plastic bottles left in hot cars are at an increased risk of breast cancer due to the release of harmful chemicals from the heated plastic. Potential carcinogens are consumed as a result. There are no scientific studies that support this.
