λέει σε ένα σημειο:
If you are in "netbook-mode", with broken panels, then please run this command:

gconftool-2 --set /desktop/gnome/session/required_components_list --list-type=string ["filemanager","panel"]

OR, if you are in "classic mode", please run this:

gconftool-2 --set /desktop/gnome/session/required_components_list --list-type=string ["filemanager","panel","windowmanager"]

έτρεξα την εντολή σε classic mode και εμφανίστηκε η γραμμή. Δεν βλέπω όμως applications και preferences...

ηρεμησα λίγο.ελπίζω να γλιτώσω το format...
