Πρόβλημα με εκτυπωτή HP LaserJet P1102

Γεια χαρά σε όλους!

Σήμερα το πρωί αγόρασα έναν εκτυπωτή ΗP (μοντ. HP LaserJet P1102).
Στα windows XP όλα πήγαν καλά.

Δυστυχώς δεν ισχύει το ίδιο για το ubuntu (10.04 που έχω).

Ακολούθησα πιστά τις οδηγίες που βρήκα εδώ: http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/in ... buntu.html
Αλλά κάτι δεν πήγε καλά. Το μόνο που είναι σίγουρο είναι ότι στο Σύστημα --> Εκτύπωση το μοντέλο αναγνωρίζεται από το λειτουργικό, αλλά όταν πηγαίνω στις ιδιότητες εκτυπωτή και κάνω π.χ. εκτύπωση δοκιμαστικής σελίδας αυτό μπαίνει στην ουρά εκτύπωσης. Τί μπορεί να φταίει, και πώς θα μπορούσα να το φτιάξω;

Είναι σημαντική η προσάρτηση της υπογραφής με τα χαρακτηριστικά του υπολογιστή σου hardware id (πχ [10ec:8168]), έτσι ώστε να δίνονται συγκεκριμένες πληροφορίες όταν πρόκειται για επίλυση ενός προβλήματός σου. Δώσε μας τα αποτελέσματα από τις εντολές του τερματικού σου.

Από τις εντολές που έβαλα δεν υπήρχαν λάθη απ' ότι θυμάμαι. Βρήκα κάτι στη παρακολούθηση συστήματος (syslog.1) (έχω περικόψει αρκετά από το log για να χωρέσει η απάντηση)

Η εγκατασταση του HPLIP δεν πετυχε!

Θα σου συνιστουσα να το απεγκαταστησεις (ολικη απεγκατασταση) και να το κατεβασεις απο το Synaptic

Έτσι ε; Οπότε τί κάνω; Πάω από το κέντρο λογισμικού να το βρω; Έχει δημιουργηθεί ένας φάκελος από την εγκατάσταση που έκανα. Να τον σβήσω; Και επίσης θα πρέπει να κάνω remove τον εκτυπωτή;

Ανοιγεις το Synaptic.

Στο πανελ κατω αριστερα, διαλεγεις origin. Δεξια πρεπει να εμφανιστει το HPLIP και καποια αλλα. Διαλεξε το HPLIP για ολικη απεγκατασταση και εκτελεσε. Δες αν εχει μεινει κατι απο την εγκατασταση (αμφιβαλλω..).

Μετα System>Administration>Printing και αφαιρεσε τον εκτυπωτη.

Μετα απο το Synaptic κατεβασε το HPLIP και το GUI του (Toolbox).

Μετα εγκατεστησε τον εκτυπωτη μεσω του HPLIP Toolbox.

Δυστυχώς δεν γίνεται. Το toolbox το έβαλα. Όμως, από το synaptic δεν έκανα ολική αφαίρεση διότι το πακέτο HPLIP δεν φαινόταν εγκατεστημένο. Το παράξενο είναι ότι στο κέντρο λογισμικού φαινόταν εγκατεστημένο, αλλά δεν έκανε απεγκατάσταση από εκεί μέσα. Θα σου στείλω κάποια screenshots.

Χρησιμοποιώ το hplip πάνω απο 2 χρόνια. Στο synaptic το πακέτο hplip δεν είναι εγκατεστημενο. Θα βρεις όμως εγκατεστημένα και αυτά θα κάνεις απεγκατάσταση τα

Aυτά προκύπτουν αν εγκαταστήσεις το πακέτο απο το κέντρο λογισμικού. Μπορείς να το επιβεβαιώσεις κιόλας?

Όμως γιατί δεν κάνει απεγκατάσταση απο το κέντρο λογισμικού? Κάτι δεν πάει καλά...

Φτιάξε την υπογραφή σου (οδηγίες θα βρεις στο λινκ "Οδηγός προς νεοεισερχομένους) για να δούμε ποια έκδοση ubuntu χρησιμοποιείς μήπως υπαρχουν αναφορές για bugs.
