fax modem

Θέλω να πάρω ένα modem το οποίο θα χρησιμοποιώ σαν fax για το laptop. Γιατί το εσωτερικό του δεν το βλέπει με ΤΙΠΟΤΑ.

Έχετε κάτι να μου προτείνετε ώστε να το αναγνωρίζει σίγουρα το ubuntu;

Και μετά με ένα gnome-ppp κάνει την δοκιμή .

Την δεύτερη εντολή δεν την δέχεται.

Λέει ότι απέτυχε. Το θέμα είναι ότι δεν μπορώ να κάνω copy το log.

Βάλε το καλώδιο τηλεφώνου και με μία εντολή από το τερματικό

μπορείς να δοκιμάσεις εάν λειτουργεί το μόντεμ .

Το sl-modem-source δεν το εγκαθιστα με τιποτε απο την κονσολα. Νομιζω ομως οτι το εβαλα απο το synaptic. Παρολα αυτα modem δεν βλεπει το συστημα.

Επισης κατεβασα κατι γλωσσικα πακετα και τωρα δεν μπορω να βαλω τονους στα ελληνικα. Τι μπορει να φταιει;
