Πρόβλημα με usb tv-tuner

Έχω ένα tv-tuner της pinnacle,το cd εγκατάστασεις(κουτί) είναι χαμένα όποτε δεν θυμάμε μοντέλο δυστυχώς,στα windows έπαιζε με το windows media center,έπαιρνε αυτόματα τις ρυθμίσεις.Έχετε καμιά ιδέα παιδιά για να δουλέψει στο ubuntu?

εγκατεστησε καποιο από τα προγραμματα tvtime και xawtv συνδεσε το και δοκίμασε.

Αν δεν δουλευει στειλε μας το αποτελεσμα των εντολών:

Χλωμα τα πραγματα. Το TVTuner ειναι βασισμενο στην καρτα της eMPIA.

Ειχα σε προηγουμενο laptop την WebCamera της eMPIA και μετα απο πολυ ψαξιμο, κατεληξα οτι δεν προκειται να δουλεψει ποτε.

Μετα απο κανα μηνα το laptop ποθανε... και με εβγαλε απο τον μπελα.

Λοιπον, από οτι διαβαζουμε στο αποτελεσμα του dmesg, του κατασκευαστη της καρτας σου θα επρεπε να του αφαιρεθει η αδεια να παραγει hardware αλλα τελως παντων. Ο οδηγος της καρτας σου φορτώνεται αλλα δεν μπορει να διαπιστωσει το ακριβες μοντελο της. Θα χρειαστει να τον βοηθησουμε λιγο. Καταρχην θα πρεπει να κανεις μερικα πειραματα. Τρεχεις:

sudo rmmod em28xx

για να κλεισεις τον οδηγό
και μετα

sudo modprobe em28xx card=53
sudo modprobe em28xx-dvb

για να τον ξαναφορτωσεις αλλα οριζοντας χειροκινητα το μοντελο ως 53 που αντιστοιχει στο Pinnacle Hybrid Pro

Μετα δοκιμαζει με tvtime, xawtv ή ακομα και με το ekiga και βλεπεις αν δουλευει. Αν δεν δουλευει επαναλαμβανεις την διαδικασια απο την αρχη με αλλον αριθμο αντι του 53. π.χ.

Γενικα παρε και δοκιμασε όλα τα μοντελα Pinnacle απο την παραπανω λίστα.

Αν δεν δουλεψει μετα θα δοκιμασουμε αν χρειάζεται καποιο frimware.

Γενικη παρατήρηση σε όσους επιθυμουν να βοηθησουν χρήστες με προβληματα hardware.
ΠΑΝΤΑ ξεκιναμε απο τις πιο ανωδυνες δοκιμες και μετα παμε στις πιο επωδυνες.
Στο παραδειγμα αυτου του νηματος η σειρα θα επρεπε να ειναι:
1. Ξεκιναμε με μια απλη ρυθμιση παραμέτρων όπως αυτην που προτεινω στο παρον ποστ.
2. Δοκιμαζουμε firmware
3. Δοκιμαζουμε ετοιμα πακετα πακετα οδηγων (π.χ. PPA)
4. Βαζουμε τον χρηστη να κανει compile ενα modul μονος του.
Το να προτεινουμε κατευθειαν το 4 δεν βοηθαει εκτος κι αν τυχει ο χρηστης να εχει ιδιαιτερη εφεση στους υπολογιστες και καταλαβει τι κανει.

Το tv-tuner το έχω σχεδόν 2χρόνια δεν είναι καινούργιο ,αναλογικά-ψηφιακά κανάλια όχι ράδιο,μάλλον σειρά 70 τόσο πρέπει να είναι.Δεν έχω κάνει ακόμα εγκατάσταση σε κάτι (τερματικό)φοβάμαι μην κάνω καμιά πατάτα.Το ψάχνω για να μην ανοίγω windows τα αποφεύγω πλέον.
