καλησπέρα επειδη δεν ξέρω αν υπάρχει κάποιο νήμα σχετικα με την διανομή την 1404 με τα προβλήματα κτλπ,
ήθελα να ρωτήσω ο κέρσορας αναβοσβήνει σαν τρελός που μπορεί να οφείλεται ??

Καλημέρα στην κοινότητα. Έκανα και εγώ αναβάθμιση, στο 14.04 beta για το σύστημα της υπογραφής μου. Δεν έκανα fresh install γιατί δεν προλάβαινα να το στήσω από την αρχή...Φυσικά είχα κάνει backup.

Pro's:
1) Δουλεύει η NVIDIA
2) Έχω την εντύπωση ότι είναι λίγο πι αποκρίσσιμο το Unity σε σχέση με το προηγούμενο αλλα μπορεί να είναι και Placebo.
3) ωραίες οι νέες προσθήκες (minimize, αναζήτηση όταν εχεις κάνει spread της εφαρμογές)

Con's:
1) Δεν δουλεύει η NVIDIA ..Ουσιαστικά πολλές φορές κολλάει το σύστημα οπότε και πηγαίνω σε terminal mode με Ctrl+F1 κτλ, και επιστρέφω με ctrl+F7 και το σύστημα ξανα ανταποκρίνεται.
2) Εχω δύο εικονίδια για δικτύωση. Το ένα έχει μόνο On-off switches και το άλλο έχει και τα δίκτυα που βρίσκει.
3)Στην εκκίνηση με βγάζει ένα "Το σύστημα αντιμετώπισε ένα εσωτερικό σφάλμα" παράθυρο διαλόγου, που με το έβγαζε και στο 13.10. Υπολόγιζα να μην το είχα με το 14.04, αλλά δυστυχώς το έχω.. Θα περιμένω φυσικά την τελική έκδοση.
3) Στην Lock Screen δεν μπορείς να αλλάξεις γλώσσα με συνδυασμό πλήκτρων, ενώ όταν κάνεις αναζήτηση στις spreaded εφαρμογές (Super + W) δεν σε αφήνει επίσης να αλλάξεις γλώσσα.

Κατα τα άλλο όλλα είναι πολύ καλά, νομίζω ότι θα είναι μια πολύ καλή έκδοση.

Υ.Γ: Δεν είμαι σίγουρος ότι είναι εδώ το σωστό μέρος για γνώμη για το 14.04. Αν δεν είναι παρακαλώ να το μεταφέρετε στην σωστή ....Ευχαριστώ πολύ

πολυ πιθανόν να φταίει το ότι έκανες αναβαθμιση (και ειδικά τόσο νωρίς) αντί καθαρή εγκατάσταση για τα προβλήματα που έχεις. Συνήθως αναβάθμιση προτείνεται μερικές μέρες μετά αφού έχει βγεί η stable έκδοση ώστε να διορθωθούν τα περισσότερα bugs που είναι σχετικά με την αναβάθμιση.

με το τελευταίο update σήμερα , εβγαλε πανομοιότυπο πρόβλημα μήπως πρέπει να το ξανα κάνω εγκατάσταση το ubuntu 1404

οτι να'ναι.χτες κατεβασα το .iso και εκανα εγκατασταση και dist-upgrade, συνεχισε να το λεει Ubuntu 13.10 στο Settings>details.
ενα αλλο προβλημα ειναι η εναλλαγη της γλωσσας(η αληθεια ειναι οτι δεν εχω διαβασει/ενημερωθει τιποτα για καποιο workaround)

πέραν πάντως των οπτικών εφφε του compiz-unity πιθανότατα που καταρρέει ή καλύτερα δεν μπορεί να τρέξει στη είσοδο login .... δεν αντιμετώπισα κάποιο άλλο πρόβλημα μέχρι τώρα , καθώς και η εναλλαγή γλώσσας λειτουργεί
