Υπάρχει ένα πεδίο που αφορά τον επεξεργαστή μετά το ασύρματο και την κάρτα γραφικών και αν το επιλέξεις εγκαθιστά για μεν τους intel το intel-microcode, για μεν τους amd το amd64-microcode πακέτο.
Τα συγκεκριμένα πακέτα υπήρχαν εδώ και πολλά χρόνια και όποιος ήθελε τα εγκαθιστούσε εύκολα.
Τι έγινε τώρα και έγιναν "προτεινόμενα" ;
Γιατί μην ξεχνάμε ότι τώρα πια θα προτρέπεται ο χρήστης για να τα εγκαταστήσει, για να λειτουργεί καλλίτερα το σύστημα του όπως λέει και το promo των κλειστών οδηγών.
Πέρα του ότι θα φρικάρει ο Stallman, δεν βλέπω άλλο λόγο για την κίνηση της canonical.
