Λυθηκε με το ubuntu-Eee Asus Eepc 1000

Αγορασα 1 Asus Eepc 1000 εβαλά μέσω εξωτερικού drive το dvd του ubuntu 8.04. Ολα καλά μέχρι εκεί κάνει εκκίνηση κανονικά αλλα δεν έχω lan η wifi με αποτέλεσμα να μην μπορώ να κάνω update και να βάλω τα υπολοίπα που θέλω. Υ.γ εχει σκληρό 160 gb και xp . Κάθε βοήθεια ευπρ'οσδεκτη ευχαριστώ. Το έλυσα βάζοντας το ubuntu Eee και έχοντας dual boot me xp. Βέβαια μου φένεται λίγο ξένο το περιβάλον αλλά θα το φτιάξω. Ευχαριστώ για την βοήθεια

Για το δίκτυο βλέπω μόνο μία κάρτα , όσο για την ασύρματη , για δοκίμασε να μπεις στο Bios και να βρεις την ρύθμιση εκεί τις κάρτας , αν δεν τότε εκεί που ξεκινάνε πάτα το συνδυασμό τον πλήκτρον Fn+F2 (F3,F4 ) δες σε πιο πλήκτρο έχει το σήμα ασυρμάτου δικτύου , πρέπει να υπάρχει .

Γιατί δεν έβαλες την Ubuntu eee version,που έχει έτοιμα τα tweaks που χρειάζονται και παίζουν όλα ootb ;
Επιπλέον έχει κι ένα ωραίο frontend ειδικά για netbooks που "κάθεται" πάνω απο το Gnome.
