HP Deskjet D1660 δεν τυπώνει μαύρο χρώμα

Γεια σας
Έχω τον εκτυπωτή "HP Deskjet D1660" και για κάποιο παράξενο λόγω δεν τυπώνει μαύρο χρώμα, παρά μόνο έγχρωμο.

Έψαξα λίγο στο internet και ανακάλυψα ότι είχαν και άλλοι αυτό το πρόβλημα.
Σε αυτή την απάντηση ο χρήστης eskararriba υποστηρίζει ότι βρήκε κάποια λύση και μερικοί από κάτω την επιβεβαιώνουν. Εγώ δεν τα κατάφερα τόσο καλά με τις οδηγίες του (δεν καταλαβαίνω πως να χρησιμοποιήσω το CUPS για να ρυθμίσω τον εκτυπωτή μου στο τελευταίο βήμα)

Αν μπορεί κάποιος να βοηθήσει σύμφωνα με τις παραπάνω οδηγίες, ή έχει κάποια δικιά του ιδέα, ας απαντήσει παρακαλώ. Επίσης δίνω τα αποτελέσματα του hp-check
