Πρόβλημα με usb flash και usb εξωτερικό σκληρό

Τελευταία έχω πρόβλημα με τα usb (φλασάκι και σκληρό).
Όταν βάζω εξωτερικό σκληρό δεν τον αναγνώριζε αυτόματα και μετά την απεγκατάσταση και εκ νέου εγκατάσταση του usbmount αναγνωρίζει τον σκληρό (χωρίς το όνομά του) αλλά δεν έχω δικαιώματα να γράψω/σβήσω κλπ.
Το ίδιο συμβαίνει και στα φλασάκια.

Τι σύστημα αρχείων (filesystem) έχει ο σκληρός ή τα φλασάκια; Υπάρχουν αρκετές εκδοχές.

Συπτοματικά μου κάνει και εμένα το ίδιο πρόβλημα ενώ όταν συνδέω το δίσκο αυτός παίρνει μπρός αλλά απο το λειτουργικό δεν τον βλέπω πουθενά και στο disk utility που τον βλέπει στο location τώρα έχει μια -

Ακόμα να αναφέρω ότι μέχρι χθές λειτουργούσε κανονικότατα ο δίσκος σήμερα έκλεισα το λαπτοπ για να το μετακινήσω και τώρα που ξαναβάζω το σκληρό τίποτα το unity στα αριστερά δεν βγάζει το εικονίδιο του δίσκου όταν τον συνδέω στην usb θύρα. Μόνο το disk utility τον βλέπει αλλα δεν μπορώ να μπώ στα αρχεία.

πώς μπορώ να του ξαναδέιξω το location?

Και εμένα εκεί που λειτουργούσε μια χαρά τώρα δεν έχω πρόσβαση σε usb ή δίσκο όταν τον συνδέω σε usb θύρα!
