Ανάλογα με την περίσταση, υπάρχουν τρόποι για την αναβάθμιση. Το σημαντικό είναι να βρεις πρώτα κάποια διαθέσιμη αναβάθμιση.

Από το dmesg, δεν βλέπω κάτι σχετικό για webcam. Είσαι σίγουρος πως έχει κάμερα; (ίσως χαζή ερώτηση)
Μήπως, αν υπάρχει, να έχει χαλάσει;

Δεν υπάρχουν χαζές ερωτήσεις!
Η αλήθεια είναι οτι την τελευταία φορά που χρησιμοποίησα την κάμερα ήταν πριν από δύο χρόνια για λίγα λεπτά! Δεν αποκλείεται να χάλασε! Τι να πώ; Ίσως να σας ταλαιπώρησα τσάμπα.

Παιδιά ΧΙΛΙΑ ΣΥΓΓΝΩΜΗ!!!!!!
Τελικά υπάρχει ένα κουμπάκι (Fn) πληκτρολόγιο για την ενεργοποίηση της κάμερας! Φυσικά μόλις ενεγοποιηθεί η κάμερα δουλεύει κανονικά!
Ζητώ συγγνώμη που σας ταλαιπώρησα. Πραγματικά δεν είμαι τόσο άσχετος με τους υπολογιστές όσο θα υποθέσετε αλλά το έξυπνο πουλί από τη μύτη πιάνεται!
Τελικά είναι μηχανήματα του διαβόλου!

Αν το πρόβλημά μας επιλυθεί. Επιλέγουμε το θέμα που βοήθησε στην επίλυση και πατάμε το κουμπάκι . Με τον τρόπο αυτό βοηθάμε κάποιον να βρει εύκολα τη λύση σε παρόμοιο θέμα απλά πατώντας πάνω στο πράσινο τικ.

Μπορείς σε παρακαλώ να δώσεις ξανά το dmesg -με ενεργή την κάμερα- για να δούμε πως εμφανίζει τώρα τα μηνύματα για την webcam; :think:

Είναι μια κλασσική UVCVideo οπότε υποστηρίζεται πολύ εύκολα χωρίς κάποιο ειδικό οδηγό.
