Γεια χαρά σε όλους! Λοιπόν απ'ότι ξέρουμε το ubuntu εγκαθιστά από μόνο του, τους απαραίτητους drivers αλλά θα ήθελα να μάθω αν μπορώ να εγκαταστήσω αυτούς από τα sites που δυστυχώς είναι μόνο για windows. :? Ο λόγος είναι ότι τώρα δεν έχω κάποια πραγματάκια όπως το EPU-6 Engine ή το TurboV της Asus ή στην κάρτα ήχου δεν μου δουλεύει το πάνελ που μου βγάζει μπροστά. Για να καταλάβετε καλύτερα αυτή είναι η κάρτα ήχου με το πανελάκι...

Να επισημάνω ότι δεν έχω κανένα πρόβλημα γενικότερα με τον ήχο ή με την μητρική μου απλά θα ήθελα να εγκαταστήσω κι αυτά τα δύο-τρία πραγματάκια...

To EPU-6 Engine είναι κάτι που μάλλον έχει να κάνει με το υλικό, και δεν είναι προσβάσιμο από λογισμικό.

Για το θέμα του ήχου, όπου κάποιες είσοδοι/έξοδοι δε δουλεύουν, μπορείς να κάνεις τη διαδικασία που περιγράφουμε στο φόρουμ για 'alsa-info.sh' (ψάξε),
και δώσε μας τα στοιχεία της κάρτας ήχου. Είναι πιθανόν κάτι που μπορούμε να κάνουμε για λειτουργεί πλήρως η κάρτα ήχου.

Η μητρική μου υποστηρίζει το EPU-6 αν εννοείς αυτό. Με τα windows δούλευε μια χαρά. Οι πληροφορίες της κάρτας ήχου είναι αυτές:

Έχεις δύο κάρτες ήχου, την ενσωματωμένη και την Creative XF-I.
Και οι δύο είναι πολύ καλές. Ποια χρησιμοποιείς;

Το alsa-info.sh αναφέρει «[ 16.414493] hda_codec: ALC1200: BIOS auto-probing.»
που σημαίνει ότι πρέπει να καθορίσεις το 'μοντέλο'. Αυτό είναι για την ενσωματωμένη.

Για την Creative δεν παρουσιάστηκε κάποιο πρόβλημα. Οπότε, για την επιλογή της απλά πας στις ρυθμίσεις του ήχου (Προτιμήσεις ήχου), σε εκείνο το μεγαφωνάκι πάνω δεξιά στη μπάρα εφαρμογών. Θα δεις την XFI στην καρτέλα για «Υλικό», και μπορείς να επιβεβαιώσεις αν είναι επιλεγμένη.

Στο "Υλικό" μου έχει και τις δύο αλλά στην καρτέλα "Έξοδος" μου έχει επιλεγμένη την creative. Παρόλα αυτά δεν κατάλαβα... τελικά το πάνελ υπάρχει κάποιος τρόπος να το κάνω να λειτουργεί;

Όχι συνδέεται στην X-Fi και έρχεται στο μπροστινό του κουτιού δίνοντάς σου 3 input: 1aux, 1 headphones kai 1 mic. Ακόμα master volume, mic volume και την δυνατότητα να διαλέξεις ανάμεσα σε κάποια modes (game, entertainment και για εγγραφή). Υποθέτω ότι μάλλον πρέπει να εγκαταστήσω τους οδηγούς απ'το site της creative για να έχω και την console που έχει και τα modes αυτά...σωστά;;

Λοιπόν κατέβασα τους drivers από το site της creative και προσπαθώ να κάνω εγκατάσταση αλλά δείτε...
