Καλησπερα!Εχω προβλημα με την εγκατασταση της Web camera,ειναι Fujitsu Siemens και την πηρα δωρεαν με τον υπολογιστη!Τι πρέπει να κάνω για να την εγκαταστήσω;Δεν έχω ιδέα!
Ευχαριστω προκαταβολικα!

Σύνδεσε την και δώσε αποτέλεσμα απο την εντολή στο τερματικό

Εγκατέστησα τα δυο προγραμματακια που μου πρότεινες αλλα δυστυχως εξακολουθω να μην εχω εικόνα...Βεβαια όταν ανοίγω έστω ένα απο τα 2 αυτα προγραμματα ανάβει τουλάχιστον η λυχνία της κάμερας(χωρις όμως να έχω εικόνα στον υπολογιστή...
Τι κάνω λάθος?

Εχω την ιδια καμερα και το προγραμμα Cheese την λειτουργει . Απλως πηγαινεις στις προτιμησεις και τσεκαρεις το " pc camera "
( Εχει περασει πολυς καιρος απο τη δημοσιευση και πιθανον να το ελυσες το προβλημα.Απλως για να ενημερωνονται και αλλοι)

Δυστυχώς δεν κατάλαβα τι εννοείς...
Δεν το έχω λύσει το πρόβλημα πάντως...Μπορεις να μου εξηγήσεις πιο αναλυτικά τι εννοείς;
Θέλω να χρησιμοποιήσω την web κάμερα στο amsn!!!

νομιζω οτι θα πρεπει να μας γινει συνηθεια μετα το lsusb/lspci να κανουμε αναζήτηση με βαση το pcid (π.χ. σε αυτην την περιπτωση0c45:613b) εντος του φορουμ για να μην επαναλαμβανουμε τις ιδιες συζητησεις. Αν υπαρχει καποια καινουρια πληροφορια που δεν αναφερεται στα προηγουμενα λινκς συνεχιζουμε να το ψαχνουμε.

Για να μας φύγει η συνήθεια του lspci και να τα βλέπουμε από γραφικό περιβάλλον να προτείνουμε την εγκτάσταση του Hardinfo απο το Synaptic. Είναι ένα απλο πρόγραμμα που μας δίνει πληροφορίες σχετικές με το σύστημά μας.

Off topic:
@CORTEXlinux για προσωπική χρήση συμφωνώ. Για υποστήριξη σε φορουμ ή IRC το lsusb ή "lspci -nn" + grep ειναι η ευκολότερη επιλογη ασυζητητη. Με το hardinfo θα τρωγαμε μισή ώρα να συνενοηθούμε με τον χρηστη.
