Η οθόνη μου, μια flat LG L1915S, με μέγιστη ανάλυση 1280x1024@60, το μέγιστο που μπορεί να μου δείξει μέσω της nvidia 7800gt που έχω στον η/υ αυτό, είναι 1024χ768@60.
Περνώντας ένα βράδυ παίζοντας με ότι εβλεπα σε φόρουμς , προσπαθώντας να ενεργοποιήσω και το SLI (εχω 2 7800gt, αυτή τη στιγμή όμως έχω μία καρτα πάνω, γιατι στο boot δεν έβρισκε καμμία καρτα/μονιτορ για να ξεκινήσει το ubuntu) κατέληξα στο συμπέρασμα οτι το πρόβλημα είναι το εξής. Oi driver ths nvidia δεν αναγνωρίζουν τις μέγιστες δυνατότητες της οθόνης μου.
Σας παραθέτω απο κάτω το xorg.conf αλλα και τα αποτελεσματα του lspci εννοιες άγνωστες για μένα μεχρι χτες, οποτε συγνωμη εκ των προτέρων για τον μακρύ διάλογο. Να προσθέσω ακόμα οτι είχα προβλήματα με το xorg.conf παρα πολλές φορές αναγκάστηκα να μπω σε recovery mode και πάρα πολλες φορές, ακόμα και τώρα δεν μπορω να κάνω save apo ta nvidia xserver settings

εχω φάει πάρα πολυ ώρα , με τα xrandr κλπ, απότι καταλαβαίνω πρέπει να δημιουργήσω νεο modeline gia 1280x1024...?
