Πρόβλημα με nvidia drivers (είμαι παντελός άσχετος)

Χτες το βράδυ πήρα την μεγάλη απόφαση και έβαλα kubuntu στο άλλο μου πι-σι.Αλλά δε ξέρω τί να κάνω για να βάλω τους οδηγούς της κάρτας μου (6200le). Τους κατέβασα από την σελίδα της nvidia αλλά δεν ξέρω πώς να τους τρέξω, και από αυτά που γράφει στο support της δεν καταλαβαίνω χριστό.Μπορεί κάποιος να μου δώσει αναλυτικές οδηγίες (τόσο αναλυτικές όσο δεν πάει άλλο)?

A, και κάτι ακόμα: πώς μπαίνει ο τόνος όταν γράφω ελληνικά?(Τώρα γράφω μεσα από win xp sp2)

Τους οδηγους για την καρτα σου κανονικα δεν χρειαζεται να τους κατεβασεις απο την σελίδα της nvidia. Εγκαθιστανται από το "Hardware Drivers/Οδηγοι Υλικού" στο μενου.

δεν τους εγκαθιστά και δεν ξέρω το γιατί. στη αρχή ήταν σε 800*600 και μετά όταν πήγα από εκεί και τους έβαλα όλαείναι σε 600*480 και δενπανε πιο πανω. τι να κανω τουλάχιστων να τα ξαναπάω σε 800*600?
Σημείωση:Ο υπολογιστής με τα λινουξ δεν έχει πρόσβαση στο ιντερνετ.

θα σου συνιστουσα να φτιαξεις πρωτα το internet, λινουξ χωρις ιντερνετ ειναι λίγο μανικι.

Δεν έχεις πρόσβαση σε σύνδεση στο διαδίκτυο,ή έχεις αλλά δεν μπορείς να συνδεθείς;
Γιατί αν ισχύει το δεύτερο και το επιλύσουμε,τα πράγματα θα γίνουν πολύ ευκολότερα.

@ακέφαλε: έχω αλλά δεν τον βάζω γιατί είναι σε άλλο δωμάτιο και δεν έχω στο σπίτι δίκτυο, αλλά μόντεμ (υσμπ) σε αυτόν που γράφω.

Κάνε αντιγραφή όλα τα παρακάτω και επικόλληση στο αρχείο xorg.conf .
Πριν από αυτό θα επιλέξεις στην εκκίνηση το recovery mode όταν θα σου βγάλει κάποιες επιλογές διαλέγεις fix X server , λογικα θα φτιάξει την ανάλυση σωστά , μετά επιλέγεις normal boot και προχωράς με τα παρακάτω
θα το ανοίξεις με την παρακάτω εντολή

και επιλέγεις όλα τα παρακάτω Κάνε αντιγραφή όλα τα παρακάτω και επικόλληση στο αρχείο xorg.conf

1 . sudo apt-get install nvidia-settings
2. sudo nvidia-settings ( εδώ μπορείς να κάνεις τις ανάλογες ρυθμίσεις με ανάλυση κτλ )

Έκανα recovery όπως μου είπες αλλά όταν βάζω τη πρώτη εντολή στο run command μου βγάζει το μύνημα αυτό sudo: gedit: command not found. Τί φταίει?Έχει σημασία που είναι Kubuntu και όχι ubuntu κανονικα?
