Προβλήμα με την καρτα γραφικων geforce gt 610

διστιχος αυτο που εγινε ηταν να μπει μεν στο ubuntu μετα την επανεκινιση αλλα κολισε ..θα ξαναδοκιμασω..αλλα υπαρχει καποια αλη λυση?η να περιμενω για την κενουργια εκδωση?

OK , αν έχεις αφαιρέσει τον driver της nvidia με τον τρόπο που σου είπα παραπάνω καλώς , αν όχι τότε κάνε το και θα προσπαθήσουμε να εγκαταστήσουμε τον τελευταίο driver από το site της Nvidia . Είναι κάτι που συνήθως δεν συστήνεται (μιας και το Ubuntu παρέχει έτοιμα πακέτα) , αλλά σε αυτή την περίπτωση (που υπάρχει bug) , θα δοκιμάσουμε.

Εγκατέστησε και τον πυρήνα 3.5 με τις παρακάτω εντολές

Μόλις τελειώσει η εγκατάσταση , κάνε μια επανεκκίνηση (για να μπεις από τον 3.5).
Μετά πας σε αυτό το site : http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us , συμπλήρωσε τα πεδία (όνομα κάρτας , λειτουργικό Linux - 32bit ή 64bit αναλόγως τι έχεις) και κατέβασε το αρχείο. Μετέφερε το αρχείο (από το Downloads) στον προσωπικό σου φάκελο (home). Έπειτα πατάς CTRL+ALT+F1 για να μπεις σε περιβάλλον κονσόλας και αφού συνδεθείς (username & password) εκτελείς

αναλόγως ποια αρχιτεκτονική έχεις κατεβάσει x86=32bit , x86_x64=64bit.
Έπειτα θα ακολουθήσεις τις οδηγίες (στα περισσότερα πατάς OK απ' ότι θυμάμαι) και μόλις τελειώσει θα κάνεις μια επανεκκίνηση.

Σε περίπτωση προβλήματος
Εκτελείς τις παρακάτω εντολές από περιβάλλον κονσόλας , δηλαδή μόλις δεις την login screen δεν θα συνδεθείς , αλλά πάτα (CTRL+ALT+F1) , συνδέσου εκεί με το username & password και μετά εκτελείς

sudo nvidia-uninstall
sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
sudo reboot

και θα επιστρέψεις στην κατάσταση με τον ανοιχτό οδηγό (nouveau) , που ξέρουμε ότι δουλεύει χωρίς κολλήματα. Από εκεί και πέρα , περιμένεις (μάλλον) για μια νέα έκδοση οδηγού της Nvidia που δεν θα έχει αυτό το bug.

Πρώτα , διέγραψε το xorg.conf και δημιούργησε ένα άλλο

Μετά, άνοιξε το nvida-settings σαν root με την παρακάτω εντολή

Πήγαινε πρώτα στο OpenGL settings και ξε-τικαρε το Sync to VBlank.
Έπειτα πήγαινε στην ανάλυση (X server Display Configuration) και θέσε την ανάλυση που θέλεις και στο τέλος πάτα "Save to X configuration file" για να την κρατήσει. (πάτα ΟΚ αν σε ρωτήσει για merge to existing configuration file)
Κάνε μια επανεκκίνηση και δες αν έφτιαξε.

Γιατί μπαίνεις σε Unity 2D ;
Από τις παραπάνω εντολές φαίνεται πως όλα λειτουργούν σωστά.. από το αποτέλεσμα της εντολής

φαίνεται πως όλα έχουν φορτωθεί σωστά και φυσικά το 3D υποστηρίζεται.

Μήπως έχεις επιλέξει από την οθόνη σύνδεσης (login screen) το Ubuntu-2d ; Διότι εκεί ότι επιλέξεις μετά μένει.. (το θυμάται).
Φτιάξε και την υπογραφή σου γιατί φαίνεται πως έχεις ακόμη την 11.04. Κοίτα εδώ πως.
