Πήγαινε ρυθμίσεις συστήματος ->Πηγές λογισμικού, στην δεύτερη καρτέλα και ξετίκαρε τα αποθετήρια που βάλαμε(μάλλον θα βρεις τέσσερις εγγραφές)
Θα διαγράψεις δηλαδή τα canonical-kernel-team/ppa και ubuntu-x-swat/q-lts-backport
Μετά θα δώσεις sudo apt-get update και πρόσεχε αν δεις λάθη να ποστάρεις.
Όσο αφορά τους οδηγούς, συγνώμη αλλά μόνο με κλειστούς μας έμεινε να δοκιμάσουμε.

Δεν υπάρχει πουθενά σαν επιλογή "πηγές λογισμικού". Μήπως εννοείς στο synaptic manager;
Nα δοκιμάσω επίσης με το HDMI μια φορά με αυτές τις ρυθμίσεις;

Δώσε αυτές τις εντολές με τη σειρά (αντιγραφή και επικόλληση στο τερματικό σου , μια-μια)

Έτσι θα εγκατασταθεί ο νέος πυρήνας 3.5.0-18. Όταν εγκατασταθεί πρέπει να κάνεις επανεκκίνηση για να κάνεις boot από αυτόν.
