Είμαι κάτοχος του netbook HP Mini 110 (βλ. υπογραφή) και αντιμετωπίζω προβλήματα με την αναπαραγωγή ήχου στο Ubuntu Netbook Remix. Κατά την αναπαραγωγή ενός βίντεο, είτε τοπικά είτε μέσω streaming παρατηρώ ότι μετά από κάποιο ορισμένο χρονικό διάστημα ξεκινούν σποραδικές διακοπές στον ήχο και εντέλει οριστική διακοπή τού.
Υποψιάστηκα ότι ευθύνεται ο PulseAudio, τον οποίο αφαίρεσα και αντικατέστησα με τον Alsa χωρίς κάποια διαφορά (ο δε Totem δείχνει να είναι "hardcoded" για να χρησιμοποιεί τον PA, αλλά παρατηρώ την ίδια συμπεριφορά σε mplayer).
Με ανησυχεί το γεγονός ότι το ίδιο πρόβλημα παρουσιάστηκε και στην μίνι-διανομή που είχε το HP ενσωματωμένη (Slashtop?).
Να σημειώσω ότι παρόλο που χρησιμοποιώ Linux εδώ και αρκετό καιρό, είναι η πρώτη μου φορά που ασχολούμαι με μια διανομή της οικογένειας του Ubuntu και ευρύτερα του Debian. Εναποθέτω τις ελπίδες μου σε εσάς
