Στα sound settings, πάω στο Input, βάζω “Microphone (built in Audio)”, κλείνω το παράθυρο και το μικρόφωνο δουλεύει μια χαρά. Όταν όμως ξανανοίξω τα Sound Settings και πάω ξανά στο Input, μου αλλάζει την επιλογή σε "Digital input (S/PDIF)" και το μικρόφωνο σταματάει να δουλεύει.

Κατά τη διάρκεια του τεστ έκανα και "tail -f /var/log/syslog". Στο syslog δεν υπήρχε καμία καινούρια εγγραφή.

Η λύση που προτείνουνε εδώ (http://askubuntu.com/questions/459479/s ... -not-saved), με το pavucontrol, σε εμένα δε δούλεψε. Και το pavucontrol χάνει τα settings.

Καλησπέρα.

Κάποτε αντιμετώπιζα το ίδιο πρόβλημα σε έναν υπολογιστή. Το έφτιαξα τότε και πιστεύω πως θα επιλυθεί και σε εσένα με τον ίδιο τρόπο, αλλά δυστυχώς δεν θυμάμαι καθόλου πως το έκανα, διότι είχα μπλέξει με πολλά αρχεία και ρυθμίσεις.
Αλλά μπορούμε να προσπαθήσουμε να το βρούμε ξανά, με λίγη υπομονή. Εκτός και αν κάποιος φίλος το έχει αντιμετωπίσει ξανά αυτό το πρόβλημα, αλλά θυμάται πως επιλύεται, ας μας διαφωτίσει.
Δώσε τα αποτελέσματα των εντολών:

Ακολούθησα τις οδηγίες. Όμως δεν ξέρω το μοντέλο της κάρτας ήχου και δεν ξέρω αν την εντόπισε σωστά.

Εντάξει είναι οι πληροφορίες. Μπορείς να τραβήξεις και ένα screenshot από τις ρυθμίσεις ήχου, ώστε να φαίνεται το παράθυρο με επιλεγμένες τις εισόδους που θες να έχεις προεπιλεγμένες (το μικρόφωνο που λειτουργεί);

Όχι, αν εννοείς γιατί συμβαίνει αυτό που παθαίνει με τις ρυθμίσεις του ήχου.
Για κάποιο λόγο δεν μπορεί να κρατήσει την αλλαγή στην προεπιλεγμένη συσκευή ηχογράφησης.
Δεν ξέρω γιατί συμβαίνει, αλλά μέσω των ρυθμίσεων θα μπορείς να το φτιάξεις.
Μπορεί να πρόκειται για κάποιο bug που θα χρειαστεί να αναφέρουμε είτε επιλυθεί το πρόβλημα είτε όχι.

Στο τερματικό εκτέλεσε:*
Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων
gksu gedit /etc/pulse/default.pa

Στο παράθυρο που θα ανοίξει (το αρχείο του οποίου το περιεχόμενο φαίνεται στα αποτελέσματα της δεύτερης εντολής παραπάνω) άλλαξε την τελευταία γραμμή από:
Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων
#set-default-source input

Σε:
Μορφοποιημένος Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων
set-default-source input alsa_input.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-stereo

Δηλαδή σβήνεις το # από μπροστά και προσθέτεις στο τέλος το alsa_input.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-stereo.
Αποθήκευσε τις αλλαγές, κλείσε το παράθυρο και στο τερματικό εκτέλεσε:
Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων
pulseaudio -k && sudo alsa force-reload
'
Και δες αν συνεχίζει να κάνει το ίδιο.
Αν ναι, τότε κάνε και μία επανεκκίνηση και ξανά δες.
Αν το πρόβλημα παραμένει και μετά την επανεκκίνηση, δώσε τα αποτελέσματα των εντολών:

cat /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/analog-input-mic.conf
cat /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/iec958-stereo-output.conf


*Αν το gksu δεν είναι εγκατεστημένο, το εγκαθιστάς με:

Και πάλι δε δούλεψε. Κάτσε να ξανακάνω reboot τώρα.
