Πρόβλημα με ethernet και κάρτα δικτύου

Καλησπέρα. Από εχτές έχω πρόβλημα με την κάρτα δικτύου προφανώς... Ενώ μέχρι χτες όλα λειτουργούσαν άψογα ξαφνικά μπορώ να συνδεθώ μόνο με wireless. Χτες έβαλα manual τις ρυθμίσεις στο network manager (ip, getaway, dns κλπ) και τελικά δούλεψε. Σήμερα όμως μετά από ένα update του ubuntu έχω ξανά το ίδιο πρόβλημα (λειτουργεί μόνο το wireless) και επιπλέον όταν δίνω ifconfig μου βγάζει αποτελέσματα μόνο για lo και wlan0, όπως επίσης και στο network tools δεν μου αναγνωρίζει ethernet παρά μόνο lo και wlan. Από windows λειτουργεί τόσο το ασύρματο όσο και το ethernet. Καμία βοήθεια κανείς;

το sudo ifconfig eth0 up δίνει:

Επειδή είσαι και νεό μέλος να στα εξηγήσω λίγο για να έχεις μια εικόνα και να μη πελαγώνεις με διάφορα.

Οσο αφορά τα δίκτυα μας ενδιαφέρει η κάρτα δικτύου. Δε μας ενδιαφέρει η μάρκα και το μοντέλο αλλά το chip που χρησιμοποιεί. Aυτό φαίνεται στο λινουξ απο την εντολή

που σου ζήτησα και για τη δική σου περίπτωση η κάρτα σου είναι αυτή

Το αποτέλεσμα της lpsci σκέτο δε μας βοηθάει.

Για τις υπόλοιπες εντολές. Βλέπεις οτι με το ifconfig δε βλέπει καθόλου σύνδεση eth ούτε eth0 ούτε eth1 ούτε τίποτα.
Άρα πας να εκτοξεύσεις με το sudo ifconfig eth0 up μια σύνδεση που δεν υπάρχει...

Αυτά πληροφοριακά για να μη χάνεσαι με διάφορα πράγματα και εντολές.

Στο θέμα μας τώρα.
2 λυσεις.
1. Launchpad bug: #573259 στο ποστ #30 αναφέρει οτι με το νεο πυρήνα του natty δουλεύει μια χαρά. Αρα μπορείς να τον εγκαταστήσεις.
2. Εδώ http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=773701 το πρώτο ποστ δίνει τη λύση (αγγλικά ξέρεις απο ότι είδα) αλλά στο 2ο αναφέρει οτι μετά απο κάθε αναβάθμιση πυρήνα θα πρέπει να κάνεις το ίδιο.

Οπότε διαλέγεις οποια θες και αν κολλήσεις κάπου εδώ είμαστε για βοήθεια.

Σε ευχαριστώ για την απάντηση και την βοήθεια. Έδωσα τις εντολές εδώ γιατί είδα σε άλλα post ότι είχαν ζητηθεί. Μετά από τόσο search κατάλαβα που βλέπεις το μοντέλο, τώρα ξέρω και για το chip id. Θα δοκιμάσω αυτά που αναφέρεις και θα πω τι συμβαίνει. Μετά από αναβάθμιση μου το έχει κάνει κι εμένα 2 φορές.

To πρώτο link που έδωσες με είχε βοηθήσει χτες να λύσω το πρόβλημα. Βρήκα αυτό http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1661489 σήμερα (ούτε που θυμάμαι που ακριβώς μετά από τόση περιπλάνηση...), το οποίο είναι ίδιο ουσιαστικά με το χτεσινό απλά μάλλον έχουν κάνει update τον driver, είναι 0821 ενώ χτες ήταν 0820. Στο 7ο βήμα βρήκε το ethernet και συνδέθηκε μόνο του αμέσως. Οπότε για την ώρα όλα καλά. Thanks for the support.
