Debian, το wireless δεν ειναι ενεργό

μολις έκανα μια νεα εγκατασταση Debian αλλα μονο με καλωδιο μπορω να συνδεθω
ο υπολογιστης ειναι αυτος

Το Debian stable 6 (ή squeeze) χρησιμοποιεί από default πυρήνα της σειράς 2.6 (που θεωρείται απαρχαιωμένος πλέον) , που πιθανότατα δεν περιέχει το module που χρειάζεται για την ασύρματη κάρτα.

Ωστόσο μπορείς να εγκαταστήσεις έναν πυρήνα της σειράς 3.2 από τα backports. Απ' ότι βλέπω εδώ => http://packages.debian.org/squeeze-backports/kernel/ , υπάρχει ο 3.2 στα backports.

Οπότε άνοιξε το αρχείο πηγών λογισμικού

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

και πρόσθεσε την παρακάτω γραμμή (ή αν υπάρχει ήδη, απλά βγάλε από μπροστά την δίεση)

μετά δώσε ένα

sudo apt-get update

και μετά ψάξε για πυρήνα της σειράς 3.2

βρες το σωστό όνομα και αρχιτεκτονική εγκατέστησε τον.

Ερώτηση:
Γιατί δεν εγκαθιστάς το Debian 7 (Wheezy) ; μια χαρά σταθερό είναι. (κατά τη γνώμη μου).
