περίεργο πρόβλημα με ασύρματο σε acer laptop

Πρόσφατα εγκαταστάθηκα στο πατρικό μου και δοκίμασα να συνδεθώ ασύρματα σε ένα ZTE modem του ΟΤΕ.Τα κατάφερα άνετα με τα δυο από τα τρία laptop μου:με ένα acer aspire 5738z που τρέχει xubuntu 13.04 και ένα hp compaq presario cq60 που τρέχει linux mint maya.Το τρίτο ,ένα acer travelmate 4020 ,δεν μπαίνει με τίποτα!Ο network manager βλέπει τα δίκτυα κανονικά , η rfkill δεν μου δείχνει ότι κάτι είναι μπλοκαρισμένο!Το περίεργο είναι ότι το συγκεκριμένο μηχάνημα πιάνει τα ασύρματα πολύ ευκολότερα από τα άλλα δύο!Το δε laptop τρέχει peppermint 3 (στηρίζεται στην 12.04) που είναι το ίδιο ουσιαστικά με το mint maya που δουλεύει μια χαρά!
Καμιά ιδέα;

Τον κώδικα τον βάζουμε μέσα σε [cοde]κώδικας[/cοde]. Επιλέγουμε το κείμενο και πατάμε το κουμπάκι .

Το έτρεξα και με live usb με LXLE(ένα lubuntu respin) και το ίδιο πρόβλημα ,βλεπει τα ασύρματα αλλά δεν μπαίνει!

Κάνε και μια επανεκκίνηση τον router καλού κακού.
