Προβλημα συνδεσης Internet On The Go σε Ubuntu 12.04

Αφου εκανα επανεκκινηση ..τοποθετω το stick και μου επιστρεφει μηνυμα..

Unable to mount COSMOTE
Error mounting:block device/dev/sr0 is write-protected,mounting read-only
mount:/dev/sr0 already mounted or media/COSMOTE busy


Εκανα ξανα επανεκκινηση και οταν τοποθετω το stick μου επιστρεφει το ιδιο μηνυμα error..
Στον Ναυτιλο αριστερα βλεπω το εικονιδιο του στικ με την μορφη CD..
Στην συνεχεια, εκτελω τις εντολες που μου ειπες..

Αρα το πιο κοντα που φτασαμε ηταν οταν εδωσες την εντολη

Οκ. Τοτε ας σβησουμε το αρχειο που φτιαξαμε.

Επισης πηγαινε απο network manager, edit connections, mobile broadband και σβησε τη συνδεση που ειχε φτιαξει.

Κανε επανεκινηση, δωσε παλι την εντολη

Λογικα θα σου βγαλει το παραθυρο να βαλεις τον κωδικο. (οπως σου ειχε κανει).

Μετα απο network manager επιλεγεις την broadband συνδεση, ανοιγει ο wizzard και τον ακολουθεις μεχρι τελους.
Ξαναπας network manager και επιλεγεις να συνδεθεις με την cosmote broadband συνδεση, λογικα δεν θα σου συνδεθει παλι, αλλα εσυ θα ανοιξεις τον browser σου και θα πας στη σελιδα https://ciotgonrequest.cosmote.gr/
Στην ανοιγει? Αν ναι, ενεργοποιησε το στικακι να ξεκινησει να μετραει χρονο.
Κλεισε τον browser, ξαναπηγαινε network manager και ξανα-επελεξε την cosmote συνδεση και λογικα αυτη τη φορα θα συνδεθει.

Αν ολα πανε καλα, μπορουμε να φτιαξουμε ενα αρχειακι/script ωστε καθε φορα που θα θες να συνδεθεις, θα βαζεις το στικακι, θα κανεις διπλο κλικ σε αυτο το αρχειο και θα τρεχει την εντολη που βαζουμε στο τερματικο (ωστε να μην χρειαζεται να το κανεις εσυ).

Ακολουθησα τις συμβουλες σου, αλλα αυτη την φορα δεν ανοιξε παραθυρο για να βαλω το pin..
Μηπως εχει σχεση οτι σβησαμε το αρχειο που μου ειχες δωσει?

Δεν νομιζω. Καλα δουλεψε. Εκανε την μετατροπη που θελαμε (απο 1514 σε 1515). Δοκιμασες να συνδεθεις? Αλλα πρωτα διαβασε το παρακατω.

Αν θελεις, δοκιμαζουμε και κατι τελευταιο που ειχε δουλεψει σε εμενα σε παρομοιο προβλημα.
Βγαζεις το στικακι. Κανεις επανεκκινηση. Ανοιγεις τερματικο και δινεις:

Εφοσον δεν μου ανοιξε παραθυρο για να βαλω το pin , δεν δοκιμασα να συνδεθω..

Αλλαξα οτι μου ειπες στο παρακατω..Δεν ειχα καποιο αποτελεσμα..δεν ανοιξε παραθυρο για pin..και παντα οταν συνδεω το stick , το εμφανιζει με το εικονιδιο του CD..ανοιγω τον new connection mobile broadband wizard ,και στην αρχικη οθονη δεν μου βρισκει το μοντεμ..Το βρηκε μονο πριν,οταν καναμε τις αλλαγες και μου εμφανιζε το παραθυρο για να εισαγω το pin

Απ' ότι καταλαβα το αναγνωριζει μονο οταν το id γινεται 1515.

Εκανα οσα μου εγραψες και δεν το βρηκε το μοντεμ..δεν ανοιξε παραθυρο για pin...και στο mobile broandband wizard δεν βρισκει το μοντεμ..

Δοκιμασες να το βαλεις σε αλλες θυρες? Κανε δοκιμη. Νομιζω, απ'οτι βλεπω εχει μονο μια θυρα usb2. Οι αλλες ειναι usb1?
Το βαζεις απευθειας στον υπολογιστη ή μεσω usb hub?

Κατευθειαν στην θυρα του υπολογιστη το βαζω..αλλαξα και θυρες..δεν υπηρξε καποια αναγνωριση του μοντεμ....4 θυρες USB εχει.
