στο τέλος του αρχείου που θα ανοίξει πρόσθεσε την γραμμή:

σώσε το και και κάνε επανεκκίνηση. Μετά από αυτο ξαναδώσε μας τα ιδια αποτελεσματα με πριν.

καταρχην βλέπω πολλά τετοια μηνύματα:

αποσυνδεσε λοιπόν ότι μυστήριο εχεις συνδεμένο, όπως hub, προεκτασεις κτλ. και συνδεσε το stick κατευθειαν σε μια θυρα.

Έπειτα κατεβασε το πακετο:

κανε επανεκκινηση και δώσε μας τα αποτελεσματα των εντολών:

στο lsmod ειδα οτι για την συσκευή φορτωνεται το module rt2800usb. Εδώ στο φόρουμ έχουμε αντιμετωπίσει πολλές περιπτώσεις καρτων όπου αυτό το module φορτωνεται χωρις να χρειάζεται εμποδίζοντας το σωστο module να κανει την δουλειά του. Γιαυτο του είπα να το κανει blacklist για να δω αν φορτώνεται μετά καποιο άλλο, πράγμα που δεν συνεβει. Έπειτα εκανα αναζήτηση στο google για να δω πιο είναι το καταλληλότερο module/οδηγος για αυτην την συσκευή. Το πρωτο αποτελεσμα στην αναζήτηση για "07d1:3c0f" ήταν το https://launchpad.net/bugs/546653 όπου φαίνεται ότι το rt2800usb όντως επρεπε να φύγει απο την μέση. Το προτεινομενο module rt3070 δεν συμπεριλαμβάνεται όμως ακόμα στο ubuntu. Είχα όμως ετοιμάσει ένα πακετο του εδώ οπότε μπορει να το δοκιμασει ευκολα.

ΥΓ. ο λογος που βγαζει ολα αυτα τα μυνηματα λαθους σχετικα με τις usb ειναι οτι στο παναρχαιο λαπτοπ μου εχει "καει" ο κοντρολλερ των 3 μαμ'α usb και εχω βαλει μια PCMCIA se 2 usb οπου στην μια ειναι το Dlink και στην αλλη το mouse.

Update: Σημερα εγκατεστησα την συσκευη D-Link DWL-G122 wireless USB adapter σε 10.10 και δουλεψε out-of-the-box!

Βλεπω δε βελτιωση στο σημα απο 48-65% σε 60-97% με την καινουρια καρτα.
