ΠΡΟΒΛΗΜΑ ΜΕ Atheros AR5001 Wireless

Για σας. Έχω το εξής πρόβλημα.Κατά αρχήν έκανα καθαρή εγκατάσταση στο laptop με ubuntu 10.04 όλα καλά εκτός από την ασύρματη κάρτα που δεν ανταποκρίνεται. Η κάρτα είναι η (Atheros Communications Inc. AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter [168c:001c] (rev 01) και το laptop (compaq pressario cq60-300). Επίσης το λαμπάκι του Wireless παραμένη ανοικτό είναι μπλε δηλ .Ενσύρματα μπορώ να συνδεθώ. Και έχω παρατήρηση οτι πατωντας το κουμπί του Wireless άσχετα αν δεν αλλάζει χρώμα και αφού το κρατήσω λίγη ώρα πατημένο ανοιγη και κάνει scan αλλά όχι πάντα. δηλ μπορεί να το πατήσω τώρα και να μου δείξει δυκτια μετά απο 10 λεπτά δεν ξέρω γιατί γίνεται αυτό παντος μετά απο επανεκκίνηση δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να κάνει σκανάρισμα πρέπει να πέραση ώρα για να ανοίξει. Εχω ψάξει σχετικά με το θέμα στο forum αλλά δεν κατάφερα τίποτα. Οσο για την εντολή lspci -nn την έβαλα στο τερματικό και την βλέπει την κάρτα. Παρακαλω την βοήθεια σας και ευχαριστώ εκ τον προτέρων

Στην προσπάθεια μου να το φτιάξω έβαλα το ath9k_htc-installer βέβαια δεν άλλαξε κάτι και υπόψιν είμαι συνδεδεμένος με καλώδιο για να έχω ίντερνετ.εδω ειναι τα αποτελεσματα της εντολης dmesg Ευχαριστώ

Απίστευτο και όμως αληθινό μετά από την τελευταία φορά που έψαχνα (7 δεκεμβρίου) να συνδεθώ στο ασύρματο το όποιο μου έβγαλε την πίστη μια απενεργοποιημένο μια η συσκευή δεν είναι έτοιμη βρέθηκε η λύση, τόσο άπλα εγκατέστησα από το synaptic το ακόλουθο πακέτο για 10.10 φυσικα, γιατί μέχρι αναβάθμιση έκανα να το διορθώσω, το πακέτο είναι το (linux-backports-modules-compat-wireless-2.6.36-2.6.35-24-generic
compat-wireless Linux modules for version 2.6.35 on x86/x86_64)αφού πρώτα έδωσα την εντολή sudo gedit /etc/modules και πρόσθεσα την λέξη ath5k στο τέλος. και αποθήκευση.Ελπίζω να βοηθήσει κάποιους να αποφύγουν την ταλαιπωρία στην περίπτωση μου ένας μηνάς

νομίζω ότι με την 11.04 λύνονται όλα αυτά τα προβλήματα... Το ίδιο αντιμετώπιζα και εγώ με την atheros μου στο λαπτοπ της υπογραφής μου και επιτέλους διορθώθηκε στην 11.04... Ας περιμένουμε λοιπόν να κυκλοφορίσει και η stable έκδοση...
