Αναβάθμιση σε 8.10, χάθηκαν από τον grub τα ΧΡ [Επιλύθηκε]

Καλησπέρα,
στον υπολογιστή μου έχω 2 σκληρούς στον έναν βρίσκονται τα windows xp και στον άλλον ubuntu 8.10 ( πλεον ). Στην 8.04 όλα πήγαιναν καλά, μετά την αναβάθμιση δεν εμφανίζεται στο grub επιλογή για boot σε windows xp ούτε καν το partition στο fstab :/

Στην εγκατάσταση σε ρώτησε προφανώς εάν να βάλει το νέο αρχείο ρυθμίσεων και εσύ απάντησες ναι , και λογικά θα το έχει αλλάξει .

Ναι το έχει αλλάξει. Το θέμα είναι οτι όταν προσθέτω εγώ επιλογή για boot στα windows (hd1,0) κολλάει στο please wait... ορίστε και αυτά που ζήτησες.

στον φάκελο /dev/ υπάρχουν και τα sda1 sda2 sda5 sda6
(δοκίμασα να κάνω boot και σαν hd0,0 , hd1,0 , hd1,1 τιποτα δεν έπεξε)

Τελικά το πρόβλημα μου λύθηκε κάνοντας τροποποίηση στο menu.lst και προθέτοντας το
