To αφηνω να κανει μερικα περασματα memtest και στη συνεχεια θα επανελθω(σε κανα 2ωρο) να εκτελεσω τις εντολες και να
σας πω τα αποτελεσματα.

Δεν χρειαζεται να κανεις εγκαταστασεις, αν σου εμφανίζει κολλήματα και στο livecd.

Αν γινεται πόσταρε και ρυθμίσεις του bios. Μας ενδιαφέρουν, το AHCI ή IDE στον τροπο λειτουργιας των δισκων, αν ειναι ενεργοποιημένο το Cool'n'Quiet , και σε τι mode δουλέυουν οι sata ( sata I ή sata II , αν δεν το γράφει το bios απλα πες μας αν εχει καποιο jumper o δισκος διπλα απο εκει που συνδεεις τα καλώδια του).

Αν δεν καταφέρεις να τρέξεις το livecd έτσι οπως είναι το σύστημα σου, ξεσύνδεσε τον σκληρό ( να μην ειναι κανενα καλωδιο συνδεδεμενο με αυτον), και τρέξε το livecd, κολλάει;;;

Υ.Γ.: Συγνώμη αν σου λέω πολλά, αλλα προσπαθώ να μάθω και εγώ τι φταίει. Απο τέτοια προβλήματα μαθαίνουμε και εμείς και εσύ.

Λοιπον, εχουμε και λεμε....
Το αφησα να κανει 3 pass και κατι ψυλα με memtest και δεν εβγαλε ουτε ενα error.

οκ. Εκτελεσε τις εντολές.

Δεν χρειαζεται να κανεις εγκαταστασεις, αν σου εμφανίζει κολλήματα και στο livecd.

Δεν θυμαμαι να κολησε καμια φορα με live cd, μονο κατα την διαρκεια της εγκαταστασης αλλα δεν ορκιζομαι κιολας.

Αν γινεται πόσταρε και ρυθμίσεις του bios. Μας ενδιαφέρουν, το AHCI ή IDE στον τροπο λειτουργιας των δισκων, αν ειναι ενεργοποιημένο το Cool'n'Quiet , και σε τι mode δουλέυουν οι sata ( sata I ή sata II , αν δεν το γράφει το bios απλα πες μας αν εχει καποιο jumper o δισκος διπλα απο εκει που συνδεεις τα καλώδια του).

Ο μοναδικος δισκος που ειναι συνδεμενος στη μητρικη ειναι ενας WD Caviar Black...ο οποιος δεν εχει jumper και μεσα στον BIOS τον βλεπω
στην επιλογη:"Standar CMOS Features" ως Ιnternal Phy SATA 2. και τον driver του cd τον βλεπω επισης στην ιδια επιλογη ως Internal Phy SATA 1.
Στο συστημα δεν υπαρχει αλλος δισκος ουτε floppy drive. To Cool'n'Quiet που μπορω να το δω?

Σε μια αλλη επιλογη στο BIOS (Advanced BIOS Features) αναφαιρει HDD S.M.A.R.T. Capability ως disable!

Το HDD S.M.A.R.T capability κανε το enabled , ειναι η δυνατότητα να μπορείς να επιτηρείς τον σκληρό δίσκο απο το λειτουργικό συστημα. πχ ποσες αποτυχημενες προσπαθειες αναγνωσης είχε, ποσα bad sectors κλπ. Αυτο πάντως δεν ειναι πηγή προβλήματος.

Στο dmesg δεν είδα κάτι ύποπτο σφαλμα. Αλλα αυτό μπορει να ειναι επειδή δεν σου κολλάει στο livecd.
Βέβαια παρατήρησα οτι ενεργοποιεί το AHCI για τον δίσκο, όποτε μάλλον πως στο bios εχεις δηλώμένο να λειτουργει τους δισκους με AHCI και οχι IDE. Σε ένα thread καπου στο φορουμ, ειχα διαβάσει οτι κάποιος άλλαξε αυτο και του δούλεψε (δεν θυμαμαι τον τιτλο..). Για δοκίμασε το και εσυ. Νομίζω ειναι στα advanced settings.

Επιπλέον ξανατσεκαρε το disk utility τώρα που ενεργοποιήσαμε το smart.

Αν δεν βρεθεί κατι με το παραπάνω, ας περιμένουμε και κάποιον άλλον να απαντήσει. Ίσως παρατηρήσει περισσότερα.

Μολης τωρα ενεργοποιησα το S.M.A.R.T capability και πηγα να ελεξω αν αλλαε κατι στο disk utility μεσα απο live cd....και μαντεψτε τι εγινε!
Mηπως το ευχελαιο ειναι πολυ softcore?? Mηπως να εκανα κανενα εξορκισμο ας πουμε??
Περα απο την πλακα, παρατηρισα οτι με το που κολησε(παγωσε) σταματησε ταυτοχρονα να διαβαζεται και το cd...
Eπισης να αναφερω οτι ουτε ο drive του cd εχει jumper! Ουτε καν θεση για jumper δεν εχει! Και τα δυο συνδεονται με sata στην μητρικη...
Επισης δεν μπορεσα να βρω μεσα στο BIOS την επιλογη για να αλλαξω απο ΑCHI σε IDE...

Στο επόμενο τέτοιο κόλλημα δοκίμασε να πατήσεις ctrl+alt+F2 .
Το λογικό είναι να σε βγάλει σε ενα τερματικό χωρις γραφικο περιβάλλον.
Αν σου ζητάει login δωσε ubuntu και σαν κωδικό τίποτα.
Αν όχι, τοτε δώσε την εντολή dmesg και πές μας ότι σφαλματα και "couldn't" γραφει στις τελευταίες 25-30 γραμμες.


Υ.Γ.: αααα, και κάτι το οποίο δεν το σκέφτηκα πριν... Μήπως να δοκίμαζες και το 10.04;;; Ισως εκει να εχει λυθεί το πρόβλημα που έχεις τώρα με το 9.10
