Αν θέλετε κι άλλα φτάνει να ζητήσετε. Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι ο υπολογιστής κολάει τρελλά. Και με τα 11.04 κολλούσε και μου έκανε κόνξες αλλά με τα 11.10 είναι το κάτι άλλο. Έχω την εντύπωση ότι είναι και το compiz στη παιχνίδι όλο μέσα αλλά αν μπω με gnome shell και όχι με unity τρέχει κάπως καλύτερα. Επίσης πιστεύω ότι το πρόβλημα μου το δημιουργεί οτιδήποτε έχει να κάνει με video. Ειδικά αν πρόκειται για flash. Αν ανοίξω σελίδα που να έχει flash και έχω και ανοιχτό κανα vlc με κανένα video, κολάει και μάλιστα κάποιες φορές σε σημείο που για να τον επανεκινήσω πρέπει να βάλω δάχτυλο. Δεν ξέρω για ποιόν ακριβώς λόγο αλλά πάντως από ότι θα δέιτε και στο top το compiz και το Xorg τον τρελλαίνουν τον επεξεργαστή. Επίσης υπάρχει κάποιο instance και πιστεύω πως έχει να κάνει και με το firefox το οποίο ξεσκίζει τη μνήμη. Αν δείτε η μνήμη είναι σχεδόν χρησιμοποιημένη όλη. Είναι δυνατόν; Είναι δυνατόν να τρέχω τα win7 και να μην μπορώ να τρέξω το ubuntu 11.10? Μου φαίνεται εξωφρενικό.

Δεν έχω βάλει επιπλέον drivers.Τι εννοείς drivers; Σε καμιά έκδοση των ubuntu δεν είχα βάλει ποτέ drivers.

Αυτό το ήξερα. Εννοούσα ότι ποτέ δεν έχω δει drivers για τη συγκεκριμένη κάρτα. Όντας από την άλλη laptop και όπως βλέπεις χωρίς ιδιατερότητες είναι γεγονός ότι δεν παίζει να έχει ATI ή Nvidia έξτρα κάρτα. Είναι η απλή η κάρτα Onboard. Δε νομίζω να υπάρχει θέμα με έξτρα οδηγούς.

Μπορείς να δεις αν έχει βγεί νέα έκδοση bios για το laptop σου ;

Ακόμα το dmesg σου είναι γεμάτο από μηνύματα του wifi έχει βάλει 2 κάρτα ;
Όσο λιγότερο κλειστό λογισμικό έχεις, τόσα λιγότερα προβλήματα.

Το BIOS το έψαξα τις προάλλες και είναι το τελευταίο. Κάρτα εξωτερική έχω βάλει και ενώ είχε μικροπροβλήματα στην αρχή και νόμιζα ότι είναι το λειτουργικό τελικά ήταν η ίδια η κάρτα (USB Wifi) οπότε δεν έχει να κάνει. Όλο το ζήτημα είναι στο λειτουργικό. Στάνταρ πράγματα. Μπήκα χθες με την επιλογή "χωρίς animations" που έχει και ο υπολογιστής πήγαινε μια χαρά. Έτρωγε τα ψιλοκολλήματά του μόνο όταν άνοιγα το firefox και ειδικά αν είχε κάποιο flash object. Αλλά και πάλι όχι τρελλά κολλήματα. Είναι καθαρά το γραφικό περιβάλλον και καθαρά το Unity και λιγότερο το gnome-Shell. Αλλά μου κάνει εντύπωση αυτό το πράγμα γιατί με τα 11.04 δεν είχα τόσες καθυστερήσεις. Είχα πάλι ψιλοθέματα αλλά δεν είχα τόσο σοβαρό πρόβλημα. Τα προβλήματα στο 11.04 άρχισαν μετά τα update αφού έχει βγει το 11.10. Δηλαδή εδώ και ένα 2μηνο. Τα 11.10 τα είχα βάλει τότε και μου έκαναν θέμα με τη θερμοκρασία και τα έβγαλα. Έβαλα τότε τα 11.04 και τώρα ξαναπήγα πριν 5 μέρες στα 11.10 μήπως και μου λυθεί αλλά δε μου λύνεται το πρόβλημα. Κάτι τρέχει στάνταρ με το γραφικό περιβάλλον. Δεν μπορεί να είναι κάτι άλλο. Απλώς δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω γιατί το unity στα 11.04 δεν έκανε πρόβλημα ή τόσο πολύ τελοσπάντων και τώρα τον κάνει τον υπολογιστή να σέρνεται τρελλά. Σκέφτομαι σοβαρά να κάνω φορμάτ και να πάω σε κάποιο Κέρνελ αρχαιότερο ή να βάλω τίποτα Xubuntu ή ακόμη να δοκιμάσω κάποια άλλη διανομή μήπως και αλλάζει το πράγμα.

Υ.Γ. Δε λέω, καλή η canonical αλλά με αυτά που κάνουν διώχνουν κόσμο από το ubuntu. Ελπίζω να μην κλείνει τον κύκλο του όπως πολλές άλλες διανομές. Εδώ και μερικούς μήνες βλέπω ότι κάποιες διανομές άρχισαν να παίρνουν τα πάνω τους πολύ στην Ελλάδα και γενικότερα στην Ευρώπη. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι κάποια λάθη γίνονται και οι χρήστες απευθύνονται αλλού. Φτάσαμε στο σημείο που πλέον κάποιες διανομές άρχισαν να αναπτύσσονται και να παρέχουν υποστήριξη από καθαρά Ελληνικές κοινότητες. Αυτό τα λέει όλα για την εξέλιξη της τελευταίας διετίας. Και χωρίς να έχω κάτι με τις άλλες διανομές. Ίσα ίσα, νομίζω ότι ο ανταγωνισμός κάνει καλό. Αλλά όχι και μονότερμα.

Αν θες κάνε και μια δοκιμή με το 12.04, είναι σε alpha1 αλλά έρχετε με νέο kernel 3.2

Σ ευχαριστώ αλλά δεν είμαι για πειράματα. Ο Υπολογιστής έστω και έτσι μου είναι απαραίτητος για τις επόμενες 10 μέρες οπότε θα το κρατήσω γιατί δεν έχω το χρόνο και την άνεση να ρισκάρω μια γενικότερη ανακατωσούρα. Μέσα στο χριστούγεννα θα κάνω όμως τη δοκιμή που προτείνεις και θα σας πω τις εντυπώσεις.

Καλησπερα και χρονια πολλα! Ξερω πολυ λιγοτερα απο τα παιδια πιο πανω,αλλα θα σου ελεγα να ξαναδοκιμασεις μια καθαρη εγκατασταση το 11.10 και αν γινετε με νεο usb ή cd! Ειναι λιγο μπακαλιστικο αυτο που λεω αλλα εμενα μια φορα μου ειχε πιασει!
