Πρόβλημα με την εγκατάσταση Samba

Χαιρετώ την ελληνική κοινότητα του Ubuntu με τι άλλο.. ένα πρόβλημα!

Εγκατέστησα πρόσφατα το Ubuntu 9.04, προσπαθώ να κάνω share έναν φάκελο και αποτυνχάνει κατά τη διάρκεια εγκατάστασης.
Δοκίμασα με το synaptic package manager αλλά πάλι τίποτα.

Το μύνημα από terminal είναι το εξής:

Υ.Γ. στο συγκεκριμένο μηχάνημα είχα ακολουθήσει οδηγίες για downgrade του xserver για εγκατάσταση των drivers της παλιάς ati μου, την οποία διαδικασία την αναίρεσα (όπως μπορούσα) με την ελπίδα ότι θα έφιαχνε αλλά δεν είδα φως.

Αυτά που δίνεις είναι για Ubuntu 8.10 .
Τελικά έχεις Ubuntu 8.10 η 9.04 ?

9.04 έχω αλλά κάποια αρχεία τα είχα φέρει στην 8.10 έκδοση.

9.04 έχω αλλά κάποια αρχεία τα είχα φέρει στην 8.10 έκδοση.

Βάλε κανονικά για 9.10 και μετά κάνε update + upgrade και βλέπουμε .

To πρόβλημα είναι ότι έχει πολλά repositories από το 8.10 και μάλλον τα έχει κάνει όλα μπάχαλο. Θα πρέπει να αντικαταστήσεις αυτά που έχει με τα αυτά που είναι μόνο για το jaunty. Ας ανεβάσει ένας με jaunty τα repositories του για να σου πω τι θα κάνεις.

ανοίξε ξανά το terminal τώρα και δώσε

κλείσε το παράθυρο με save και μετά δώσε ξανά στο terminal

sudo apt-get upate
sudo apt-get upgrade

και μετά δοκίμασε να κάνεις εγκατάσταση το samba

Δοκίμασα να κάνω update στο 9.10 (πριν αλλάξω το sources.list όπως είπε ο vista killer), το οποίο στο τέλος μου έβγαλε ένα μύνημα που έλεγε update completed with errors ή κάτι τέτοιο, δε θυμάμαι ακριβώς.

Και επειδή σπάστικα έφαγε format και reinstall και τώρα όλα καλά με 9.10 μέσα.
Τώρα δίνω τη μάχη να δω τα share στο δίκτυο αλλά δεν είχα χρόνο να διαβάσω πολλά πράγματα επί του θέματος, αν το κάνω πιστεύω θα τα καταφέρω.

Υ.Γ. Γιατί σε κάθε update κερδίζω άλλη μια έκδοση επιπλέον στη λίστα του Grub Loader;
