Εγκατάσταση - Μεταγλώττιση του Gnome Shell

Ρε παιδιά με αυτό το σφάλμα git.collabora.co.uk/git/telepathy-glib τι γίνεται; Ξέρει κανείς πως το διορθώνουμε; Έκανα πάλι jhbuild build και εξακολουθεί να το βγάζει( Oops! This link appears to be broken.). Γενικά όμως το site αυτό λειτουργεί! Εσένα mangelasakis σου το έβγαλε αυτό το σφάλμα;

Πρόσφατα αλλάξαμε το ~/.jhbuildrc ώστε να είμαστε σε θέση να προσθέσουμε το gnome-shell-extensions.
Μαζί με την αλλαγή αυτό που κάναμε ήταν να διατηρούμε τοπικά το gnome-shell.modules και να μην έρχεται πια από το
http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell ... ll.modules

Αν δεις στο http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell ... ll.modules
θα παρατηρήσεις ότι πρόσφατα άλλαξε το telepathy-glib
σε

Οπότε, θέλει μια ανανέωση το gnome-shell.modules ή απλά να επαναφέρεις το
http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell ... ll.modules
στο .jhbuildrc.

αν το επαναφέρουμε αυτό που λες παραπάνω δεν θα έχουμε πρόβλημα με το gnome session που το είχαμε λύσει προσθέτοντας στο .jhbuildrc κάτι γραμμές;

Τώρα στο ~/gnome-shell/install/ έχει ένα πρόσφατο gnome-session που μπορεί να κρατήσει για μερικούς μήνες. Αν παρουσιάσει πρόβλημα μπορείς να κάνεις την ίδια δουλειά.
Αυτό που πρέπει όμως να διαπιστωθεί είναι αν το φρέσκο http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell ... ll.modules
έχει και άλλες αλλαγές από το αντίγραφο που πήρες πριν λίγες μέρες.
Μπορείς να συγκρίνεις με π.χ.

Σε κάθε περίπτωση μπορείς να ξεπεράσεις το ζήτημα αυτό με ένα φρέσκο αντίγραφο του http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell ... ll.modules όπου
ρίχνεις μέσα ξανά τα gnome-session και το gnome-shell-extensions.

κατεβάζω το live cd/usb αλλά θα το δοκιμάσω αύριο...

κατέβασα το live cd/usb αλλά όταν το κάνω boot δεν έχω φωτεινότητα...το έβαλα και στο virtual box αλλά μου έλεγε ότι δεν μπορεί να τρέξει και μπαίνει σε fail safe mode...οπότε αν κάποιος άλλος έχει τον χρόνο να το κάνει θα ήμουν υπόχρεος...

Σίμο αυτό σημαίνει ότι αλλάζει κάτι στην διαδικασία; Προσπάθησα να κάνω ανανέωση του gnome-shell και από τότε μου βγάζει κάποια σφάλματα με αποτέλεσμα να μην μεταγλωττίζεται σωστά.

Μην κάνεις το 6, γιατί θα το χάσεις το shell...
