"Παγωμένο" λειτουργικό

Πρώτα από όλα να χαιρετήσω την πολύ καλή προσπάθεια που γίνεται από όλους σας για την υποστήριξη μας.

Είμαι εντελώς καινούριος στο Ubuntu και μόλις πρόσφατα εγκατέστησα την 9.04. Ωστόσο αυτή η πρώτη προσπάθεια έχει συναντήσει ένα πολύ ενοχλητικό πρόβλημα: Ο υπολογιστής δείχνει να "παγώνει" και συνεχίζει την λειτουργία του μόνο όταν κινήσω το mouse ή πατήσω το enter.
Το πρόβλημα αυτό παρουσιάστηκε όσες φορές κι αν εγκατέστησα το λειτουργικό (μία φορά μέσα από τα windows και άλλες 2 απευθείας από το cd) και ξεκινάει από την αρχή κιόλας της εγκατάστασης (από την μπάρα κύλησης), ενώ συνεχίζεται και μετά την εγκατάσταση.
Να σημειώσω ότι έχουν εγκατασταθεί και όλες οι ενημερώσεις.

Το pc έχει ήδη εγκατεστημένα xp και η διαμόρφωση που έχω χρησιμοποιήσει είναι ext4.
