3D επιτάχυνση σε ΑΤΙ HD2xxx-4xxx με οδηγούς ανοιχτού κώδικα

Αν έχετε πρόβλημα με την κάρτα γραφικών σας και δεν μπορείτε να μπείτε σε γραφικό περιβάλλον,
δοκιμάστε να τρέξετε την παρακάτω εντολή για να ελέγξετε αν το σύστημά σας χρειάζεται πρόσθετους κλειστούς οδηγούς:

Για κάρτα τηλεόρασης δώστε τα αποτελέσματα των παρακάτω εντολών :
lspci -nn (Για εσωτερικές κάρτες pci)
lsusb (Για εξωτερικές κάρτες με σύνδεση usb)

Couzo το πρώτο που μπορείς να κάνεις για να δεις ποιους οδηγούς έχεις είναι να πας στο /etc/X11/ και να δεις το αρχείο xorg.conf τι γράφει στο section για την οθόνη εκεί που λέει driver. Αν έχει fglrx πάει να πεί ότι έχεις τους κλειστούς. Από το screenshot που ανέβασες φαίνεται πως έχεις εγκατεστημένους και του ανοιχτούς (radeon) και τους κλειστούς (fglrx). Καλά θα είναι να βγάλεις τους κλειστούς με την παρακάτω εντολή:

sudo apt-get remove --purge xorg-driver-fglrx


έπειτα εγώ για να βγάλω επιπλέον συσχετιζμένα αρχεία έδωσα και

sudo apt-get autoremove


ίσως να είναι καλά να βγάλεις και τους υπόλοιπους οδηγούς (ανοιχτούς) που έχεις γιατί αφού προσθέσεις το αποθετήριο μπορεί να σου κατεβάσει πιο καινούργιους, για να μην έχεις τίποτα προβλήματα. Άν έχεις ήδη τους κλειστούς, αφού περάσεις τους ανοιχτούς, σε περίπτωση που δεν σου τρέξουν κατευθείαν δώσε την εντολή του backup που έχω γράψει παραπάνω για να κάνει καινούργιο configure το σύστημα και να ξεκινίσει να τρέχει τους καινούργιους.

Σε περίπτωση που και πάλι δεν σου τρέξει τίποτα, δοκίμασε να δώσεις τις παρακάτω εντολές:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall libgl1-mesa-glx && libgl1-mesa-dri && xserver-xorg-core && xserver-xorg-video-ati && xserver-xorg-video-radeon

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg


Τέλος θα σου πρότεινα να γράψεις τις εντολές σε ένα χαρτί γιατί μπορεί μετά την απεγκατάσταση των ήδη υπάρχοντων οδηγών να μην σε βγάλει σε γραφικό περιβάλλον. Τα επιπλέον πακέτα που πρέπει να κάνεις εγκατάσταση σε περίπτωση που δεν το γνωρίζεις, απο κονσόλα γίνονται εγκατάσταση με "sudo apt-get install paketo" χωρίς τα "". Σ'εμένα μετά την εγκατάσταση των ανοιχτών οδηγών μου κάνει λιγότερα flickering στα διάφορα βίντεο, αλλά να ξέρεις ότι εξαρτάτε απο το format του κάθε βίντεο, και σε flash είχα πολύ μεγάλη βελτίωση.

εύχομαι να τα καταφέρεις. θα περιμένουμε νέα και εντυπώσεις αν όλα πάνε καλά.

Επιβεβαιώνω κι εγώ απλά ότι οι drivers των ανοικτών οδηγών δουλεύουν άψογα καο πολύ καλύτερα μάλιστα από τους κλειστούς οδηγούς. Όσοι έχουν ΑΤΙ τους συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Λοιπόν, για πείτε εσείς που ξέρετε απο αυτά γιατί δεν το κατέχω το άθλημα.
Έβαλα τον "Μονομάχο" LITE για να έχω να παίζω με τους ανοιχτούς drivers (βάσισμένος στο Ubuntu 9.04).
Παρόλο που έβαλα τα πακέτα, άσχετα αν έχω kms ανοιχτό και αν ενεργοποιείται το dri, άσχετα αν το drm δουλεύει, βλέπει και ανοίγει την κάρτα, άσχετο αν τα log λένε οτι όλα δουλεύουν, δεν έχω 3D.
Kernel 2.6.32 rc7, και τα χτεσινά πακέτα (φαίνονται και απο τα log).
Παραθέτω το Xorg.0.log (χωρίς radeon.modeset=1 στον grub) και το σημείο που μάλλον κολλάει (δεύτερη εντολή). Το dmesg είναι επίσης απολύτως φυσιολόγικό

To μοναδικό που βρήκα είναι αυτό http://www.phoronix.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20317 που δεν ξέρω αν έχει γίνει το update που λέει. Προσέξτε το μην βρεθείτε χωρίς 3D.

Είναι αδύνατο στην περίπτωσή μου. Με την έννοια οτι έχω βασική διανομή, οπότε αν δεν λυθεί θα περάσω fglrx εδώ και τους open οδηγούς στην άλλη.

οσοι εχουμε βαλει τους ανοιχτους οδοιγους το εχουμε κανει με την διανομη 9,10 οπτε και εγω σου πρωτηνω οτι και ο logari81....

Τελικά δούλεψε μετά την σημερινή αναβάθμιση των πακέτων.
Να πώ οτι το μοναδικό πρόβλημα που συνάντησα (παρόλο που είμαι με 9.04 ουσιαστικά) ήταν οτι υπήρχαν μερικά προβλήματα εξαρτήσεων που λύθηκαν αφού πρόσθεσα και το repo του karmic την ώρα που πέρασα τα πακέτα.

όσοι έχουν εφαρμόσει τον παραπάνω οδηγό και δεν μπόρεσαν να ενεργοποιήσουν το KMS μπορουν να κοιταξουν εδώ:
