ΔΕΝ ΑΠΟΘΗΚΕΥΕΙ ΤΗΣ ΡΥΘΜΙΣΕΙΣ ΤΗΣ NVIDIA GEFORCE FX 5500

είναι ότι πατώντας την επιλογή save to x configuration file μου βγάζει πλέον αυτή την καρτέλα Unable to remove old X config backup file '/etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup'

Δεν θα εκκινήσεις το nvidia-settings από το μενού...
ALT+F2 και gksu nvidia-settings...

Οι ρυθμίσεις γινονται και εύκολα μέσω του nvidia settings προγράμματος αλλά για να τις αποθυξεύσει θα πρέπει να ανοίξεις το πρόγραμμα σαν root. δλδ άνοιξε το terminal και δώσε

sudo nvidia-settings

κάνε ότι αλλαγές θέλεις μετά πάτα apply και κάνε ένα restart.

τα εκανα και τα δυο τιποτα παλι η αλλαγη ειναι οτι πατοντας την επιλογή save to x configuration file την αποθηκευει κανονικα μετα απο επανεκινηση ομως παλι τα ιδια 1024Χ768 να παραθεσω το αρχειο xorg.conf μηπως και εγω δεν κανω κατι καλλα λογο ασχετος

επανέρχομαι παιδιά αλλά αυτή την φορά για να πω ότι έχει λυθεί το πρόβλημα ήταν πολλή απλό τελικά τα έκανα απεγκατάσταση αναγκαστικά και όταν τα ξανά έβαλα απλά πριν αλλάξω την γλώσσα έβαλα τους drivers μετά ακολούθησα τα βήματα του linuxman επανεκκίνηση και όλα ωκ ισως αν έκανα login στην αγγλική γλώσσα να μην χρειαζόταν ούτε η απεγκατάσταση ευχαριστώ για την βοήθεια σας
