Εγκατάσταση Drivers ΑΤΙ Radeon 9200SE ( ΕΠΙΛΥΘΗΚΕ )

Εγκατέστησα το ubuntu 8.4.1 σε ενα σύστημα και εχει καρτα γραφικών ATI RADEON 9200SE. Δεν εχει αναγνωριστή σωστά ( Η οθόνη τραβάει αριστερά και προς τα πάνω και ο κύκλος ειναι αυγό ). Με την εντολη lspci μου δείχνει οτι την βρισκη την κάρτα. Στο xorg.conf πουθενά δεν αναφέρετε η κάρτα καθώς και η ανάλυση της οθόνης. Μήπως μπορεί κάποιος να με βοηθήσει ( η να με παραπέμψει ) στην εγκατάσταση των drivers?.. Ακολούθησα τις οδηγίες σε ενα section του ubuntuforum αλλα δεν εγινε τίποτα.

Δοκίμασε το Method 1 , εάν έχεις πρόβλημα μόνο τότε προχώρα παρακάτω .

η καρτα ειναι πολυ παλια νομίζω για τους drivers που σου ανεφερε ο linuxman κι εχει παψει να υποστηρίζεται.

Πες μας λίγο ποιες οδηγίες ακριβώς ακολουθησες.

Στο 8.04 το xorg.conf ειναι σχεδον αδειο γιατι ολα αναγνωριζονται αυτοματα (στην περιπτωση σου ομως αποτι φαινεται λανθασμενα). Μπορεις παρολαυτα να συμπληρωσεις το xorg.conf και να διορθωσεις το προβλημα.

Στειλε μας το xorg.conf σου να το δουμε κιολας

Μετά από τις οδηγιες αυτής της σελίδας εχω πρόβλημα και ως προς την ταχυτητα απόκρισης της οθόνης.
Καθε βοήθεια ευπρόσδεκτη.

Removing the proprietary fglrx driver

(Αν και σε σενα ετσι κι αλλιως δεν πρεπει να εγκαταστηθηκε ο fglrx αφου δεν υποστηριζει την καρτα σου.... αλιως το xorg.conf σου θα ειχε κι αλλα πραγματα μεσα)

Αφου τα κανεις αυτα κανε ενα restart και μετα δωσε

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg


και ξανακανε restart.

Μεχρι εδω εχουμε φτασει (ελπιζω) στην κατασταση που ειχες οταν εκανες την εγκατασταση ...κι εχουμε ξεφορτωθει τους επιπλεον πειραματισμου σου. Αφου φτασεις σε αυτο το σημειο δωσε μας ξανα το xorg.conf σου κι επιπλεον το αποτελεσμα της εντολης

xrandr

κι επισης την ανάλυση που θες/πρεπει να εχει η οθόνη σου. Αν μας δωσεις αυτα τα στοιχεια θα μπορεσουμε να σου πουμε μαλλον τι χρειαζεται να προσθεσεις στο xorg.conf για να γινει.

Επίσης ελεγξε το καλωδιο της οθονη σου για κακη συνδεση.

σωσε το κανε επανεκκινηση (ή τουλαχιστον επανεκκινηση του γραφικου με Alt+Ctrl+Backspace) και δες αν διορθωθηκε. Ελπιζω το modeline που διαλεξα βαση της εντολής

cvt -v 1280 1024

να ειναι καταλληλο για την οθονη σου για να μην γινει καποια ζημια.

ΕΠΕΞΕΡΓΑΣΙΑ 1

απενεργοποίησα την γραμμή

και προσθεσα την γραμμη

επισης ξεχασα να σου πω, πριν κανεις οτιδηποτε να εχεις κανει ολα τα updates και επανεκκινηση αν χρειαστει.

Ελπίζω να κατάλαβες οτι το προβλημα ειναι η αναγνώριση της αναλυσης της οθονης. Τωρα προσπαθούμε να του επιβάλλουμε μια αλλη ενάλυση εκτός αυτών που αναγνωριζει. Δηλαδή προκειται να λυσουμε το προβλημα της λαθος αναγνωρισης αλλα προσπαθουμε να το παρακαμψουμε. Για να δούμε όμως γιατι προκύπτει το προβλημα καλο θα ήταν να μας στειλεις το αποτελεσμα των εντολών:

και

sudo get-edid|parse-edid

αφού εγκαταστησεις το πακετο read-edid με

sudo apt-get install read-edid

καθως και το περιεχόμενο του αρχειου

καλά θα ηταν καλα να μπορουσες να μας τα στειλεις κι αυτα πριν αρχισεις με οποιαδηποτε δοκιμη.

χμμ για την πρωτη εντολη χρειαζοταν και το πακετο xresprobe, εγκατεστησε το με

και ξαναδωσε
