Δεν δινει επιλογη για τα Windows

Εχω εγκατεστημενα τα Windows10. Εκανα εγκατασταση του Ubuntu 24.04.1 αλλα δεν μου δινει επιλογη dual boot. Μπαινει κατευθειαν στο Ubuntu. Τι μπορω να κανω;

Καλησπέρα, δώσε το αποτέλεσμα της εντολής:

sudo update-grub

Βλέπεις στα αποτελέσματα της εντολής ότι βρίσκει τα Windows 10.

Δεν υπάρχει στο menu του GRUB επιλογή για τα Windows?

Δώσε το αποτέλεσμα της εντολής:

cat /etc/default/grub | grep TIMEOUT

μάλλον περιμένει 0 δευτερόλεπτα για την επιλογή σου.

Λοιπόν, άνοιξε με έναν text editor το παρακάτω αρχείο, πχ με την εντολή:

Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων

sudo nano /etc/default/grub

και πήγαινε και άλλαξε αυτές τις 2 γραμμές παραπάνω σε:

Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων

GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu
GRUB_TIMEOUT=10

για να φαίνεται το μενού για 10 δευτερόλεπτα (άλλαξε τον αριθμό σύμφωνα με τις ανάγκες σου).
Στην συνέχεια σώσε και κάνε update τον GRUB:

Κώδικας: Επιλογή όλων

sudo update-grub

Δες εάν το πρόβλημα παραμένει.
